Dear Parents and Friends of Montessori Education,In 2004 Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the founders of multi-billion dollar internet search engine Google were interviewed on the Barbara Walters show. Ms. Walters asked to what they attributed their success, and they replied: "We both went to Montessori school and I think that taught us to think outside the box." They said that their Montessori education allowed them to learn to think for themselves and gave them freedom to pursue their own interests.
Hermosa Montessori has been fostering such qualities in children for over 25 years. We are proud to be an excelling Arizona school, and to have some of the highest test scores in the state year after year. But what really makes our children so exceptional is the character education that is an integral part of Hermosa Montessori's program.
As an Arizona charter school, Hermosa's Montessori program is now available tuition free. Although we do receive funds from the state of Arizona for our program, Arizona has one of the lowest funding levels in our country. You can help Hermosa's children and Hermosa Montessori School-- at no cost to you.
You can donate up to $400.00 to fund extracurricular activities at Hermosa. If you make this donation you will receive a dollar for dollar tax credit; this means that the donation does not actually cost anything if you have tax liability! And if you work in the state of Arizona, you probably have tax liability.
The founders of Google join a long line of innovative former Montessori students who are now making a difference in our world. At Hermosa Montessori School, we are proud to add to the pool of such exceptional students. Please help us continue our tradition of excellence in education; contribute to the extracurricular fund. For information on how you can help feel free to give us a call or visit our campus.
Your donation must be received by December 31 of each year. For specific tax questions, consult your tax advisor.
Thank you,
Students of Hermosa Montessori School
