Position Overview
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Elementary I Classroom Assistant to support our lead teacher in a Montessori classroom for children ages 6-9. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in an environment where you can actively contribute to creating an engaging and dynamic learning space, fostering independence, responsibility, and a love of learning in children.
Qualifications & Expectations
- A genuine interest in working with children in a Montessori environment
- Ability to support individualized instruction and engage with students in a positive and respectful manner
- Willingness to collaborate with the lead teacher and other team members
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
- Prior experience working with children, particularly in a Montessori setting, is a plus, but not required
