Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary II Classroom Assistant to collaborate with the lead Montessori teacher in a classroom for children ages 9-12. This role involves supporting students in their academic and social development, encouraging independence, and helping maintain an engaging and structured learning environmentthat reflects Montessori principles.
Qualifications & Expectations
- A genuine passion for working with upper elementary students in a Montessori setting
- Ability to assist in individualized learning experiences and support students’ academic growth
- Strong organizational skills and classroom management abilities
- Willingness to collaborate closely with the lead teacher and other staff
- A patient and supportive approach to guiding students
- Prior experience working with children, especially in a Montessori environment, is preferred but not required
