Position Overview
We are seeking a Special Education Interventionist to support students with exceptional needs in a Montessori learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Special Education settings, a strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), and prior experience interpreting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attending parent meetings.
Qualifications & Expectations
- Experience in a Special Education or interventionist role
- Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies
- Ability to interpret and implement IEPs effectively
- Strong collaboration skills within a small, supportive team
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Willingness to align instruction with Hermosa’s Montessori philosophy
