Position Overview

We are seeking a Special Education Interventionist to support students with exceptional needs in a Montessori learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Special Education settings, a strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), and prior experience interpreting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attending parent meetings.

Qualifications & Expectations

  • Experience in a Special Education or interventionist role
  • Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies
  • Ability to interpret and implement IEPs effectively
  • Strong collaboration skills within a small, supportive team
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Willingness to align instruction with Hermosa’s Montessori philosophy
