Position Overview
We are looking for a responsible and energetic After-School Program Assistant to help supervise and engage studentsin a variety of age-appropriate activities in accordance with Montessori principles. This role involves ensuring student safety, facilitating creative and recreational activities, and maintaining a positive and structured environment.
Qualifications & Expectations
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children in an afterschool setting
- Ability to supervise, engage, and guide students in a respectful and encouraging manner
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to uphold Montessori values and support a child-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
- Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required
