Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Primary Classroom Assistant to support the lead Montessori teacher in a multi-age classroom for children ages 3-6. The ideal candidate will foster a calm, structured, and engaging environment while encouraging independence and a love of learning in young children.
Qualifications & Expectations
- A sincere interest in working with young children in a Montessori setting
- Ability to support and guide students with patience and care
- Willingness to learn and uphold Montessori principles and classroom routines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the lead teacher and fellow staff
- Strong organization and supervision skills
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, but not required
