Position Overview
We are seeking an Upper Elementary Montessori Lead Teacher to guide students in grades 4-6 in a Montessori environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a love for learning. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, creative educator who thrives in a collaborative setting and is committed to upholding Montessori principles.
Qualifications & Expectations
- Montessori certification (AMI or AMS) for Upper Elementary (preferred but not required, Hermosa School will train)
- Experience in an elementary Montessori classroom
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Passion for child-centered, hands-on learning
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to fulfilling responsibilities in accordance with Hermosa’s Montessori philosophy
