Dear Hermosa Families,
We are excited to launch our annual Hermosa Giving Tree, a non-denominational, community-driven
holiday tradition inspired by our parent community’s desire to support one another during the season
of giving.
We are inviting two groups of participants:
1. Recipient Families – those who could use a little extra help this holiday season
2. Donor Families – those who are able to share some holiday cheer with others
Each recipient family will be assigned a number. Donor families will receive that number, along with
the age and gender of the children they are supporting.
To help guide donations, we suggest a $50 gift limit per child and an additional $75 grocery store gift
card for the family to enjoy a nice holiday meal.
Example: A donor sponsoring a family with three children would budget $50 × 3 children + $75 (for
food) = $225 total.
We kindly ask that donations be made in the form of gifts or gift cards only—no cash or checks, please.
Our first step is to collect information about everyone wanting to participate. Please provide:
Recipient Family
1. Your name
2. Your children’s age, gender, interests (specific suggestions and clothing sizes are
encouraged.)
To allow enough shopping time, please provide your information by December 5, 2025.
Donor Family
1. Your name
2. Size of family you are willing to sponsor. (A family with up to 4 children, a family with
2 children, etc.)
Please deliver your gifts to the Admin Annex by 12/15/2025.

everyone’s anonymity during this process. Once family numbers are assigned, I will share the
information with the Donor Families. Pick- up arrangements will be made before the Hermosa
winter break. Donor families should not wrap gifts, but are welcome to provide wrapping
paper, bows etc. if they wish.
Last year we had 20 families participate in the Giving Tree program!
